Symposium
We just held our first symposium for doctors and nurses yesterday. We had 90 people attending and 3 lecturers. Our talks covered management of diabetes and hypertension and we presented our algorithms for treatment in central Viet Nam. We had+(Medium).JPG)

Having a chance to participate in the teaching session that Josh Solomon, Nancy Nguyen, and Luu Phuoc An arranged for vietnamese doctors was a wonderful experience. The group, after having worked with a number of Vietnamese doctors, were able to provide a meaningful session on very specific problems (diabetes and hypertension), with practical solutions that consider both cultural and economical factors. It's been a pleasure to learn about the meaningful work they have been doing in Hoi An...
